Welding doesn't have to include white-hot flames and lots of sparks. You can try a solid-state welding process like Friction Welding. Find out how it works in our latest blog.

And finally... Congratulations to this year's #MetalMyWay Grand Prize winner David Kasler for his WF-45 Tractor. David took an old WD-45 Allis-Chalmers tractor that was in very bad shape and made significant modifications to turn it into a standard tread tractor! Just look at the before and after! WOW! David purchased metal from his local Metal Supermarkets in Columbus and completed the project within 2 years. Congratulations David and all of Metal My Way winners!... #MetalSupermarkets #MetalMyWay

Congratulations to the #MetalMyWay winner for best demonstration of processing Steve Jones for his "Artifact." Steve created this work of art using various pieces of sheet and plate, cutting the materials with a shear and handheld plasma cutter, and then grinding, forming, and welding the metal. The surface texture was created using the weld splatter technique, and finished with a black patina. It took him about 6 months to complete. Congratulations Steve. #MetalSupermarkets #MetalMyWay

Congratulations to this year's #MetalMyWay Car project winner Travis Taylor for his 65 C10 Twin Turbo Truck. Travis built this with his son without the use of any kits. They took the original truck down to the frame and put in hundreds of hours of cutting, and fabricated all of the air ride suspension parts using metal that was purchased from Metal Supermarkets Las Vegas (South). Looks great! #MetalSupermarkets #MetalMyWay
