It has appointed a very qualified Advisory Panel to carry out the review and to receive public input. YOU ARE INVITED - Mark your calendars in February! to a Presentation and Discussion on PROPORTIONAL REPRESENTATION sponsored in part by the APRM. THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 7pm. at Metchosin COUNCIL CHAMBERS.... The Chair of the Local Education Committee of Fair Vote Canada Victoria and two Fair Vote Canada presenters will be on hand to share their perspectives, and actual data, on Proportional Representation. Bring your questions and comments. The referendum on Proportional Representation will likely be a mail-in ballot during Fall 2018. The timing of this referendum may overlap with the Municipal Elections on Saturday, October 20, 2018. You are encouraged to visit the BC Government website https://engage.gov.bc.ca/howwevote/ .Open until Feb. 28, the public is invited to fill out an online questionnaire and make comments on various aspects of the electoral system, including their preferred voting system, ballot design, and the distribution of public funding for designated groups to campaign.
