Our water jet machine can cut a wide variety of materials using a very high-pressure jet of water with or without a mixture of an abrasive substance. Our 5-axis water jet has a pressure of 94,000 psi and a 178 x 80 table. We can cut any material you want up to 6 thick hard steel. Because of its 5-axis capabilities we can max out at 45 degrees, giving your project the 3D shape required. Vacuum Forming: A basic process in which vacuum evacuates air trapped between a heated sheet and a mold. Atmospheric pressure forces the sheet against the mold, conforming to its c...ontour. Pressure Forming: By using additional pressure the formed part to take on the intricate detail incorporated into the mold. Pressure formed parts maintain the detail and appearance of an injection molded part with considerably less tooling costs. Twin-Sheet Forming: The synchronized vacuum forming of two separate thermoplastic sheets in separate matching molds mounted opposite each other. Waterjet cutting titanium!

This was a fun project we worked on. It is a bear den pod. These are used to determine if they can provide hibernation sites for bears in areas where den supplies may be low due to forest harvesting wildfire and hydro reservoirs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hS9r14J8Zm0
