Congratulations to all the participants on graduating our Winter 2020 courses this past week! Although we had to transition quickly due to the circumstances, it is clear that most participants were able to stay engaged in the courses online. A big thank you to our instructors and Nova Scotia Workplace Education for working with us through these uncertain times and keeping the conversations going. One of our classes made a video to show their appreciation, it is genuinely heartwarming and reinforces that even through hard times there is still time to make a difference. Thank you all and we will meet again soon!

Our member, Nancy Roberts created these two sculptures for the Truro Art Society's annual Sculpture Show. Both works are untitled and about 10" long. This show curated by Brandt Eisner is one of the best gatherings of sculpture, including wood, metal, stone, ceramic, and mixed media in all sizes. The Sculpture Show opens Feb. 5 at the Truro NSCC campus library at 36 Arthur St. Opening is 5:30-7 p.m, then library hours to Feb 27.
