Here's the beginnings of the larger wall mural being painted at Metro Central on St Paul and Coronation in Kelowna. The mural features some poetry by the late great Diane Larsback. Dylan Ranney and Liz Ranney are doing a great job of painting it. #dylanranneyart #lizranneyart #Kelowna #art

As the sun was setting on day 3 of the new metro mural project, we couldn’t help but wonder if God was suggesting a few additional colours for us? He is the Master, we are the students eh? #Dylanranney

Hope for the Island (HOPE) is a gospel-centered organization focused on serving the poor on Siargao Island, Philippines since 2001. Our very own Derek & Jenn Van Ryckeghem pioneered HOPE and saw incredible fruit as they focused on the ministry of reconciliation entrusted to them by God in 2 Corinthians 5:1820. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/ Brian and Elaine Van Ryckeghem, who are also involved at Metro, actively serve the needs of HOPE here in Canada. HOPE's team of ...indigenous leaders serve the community through Youth and Kids Ministries, Widows care, Health Restoration Program, Prison Ministry, Emergency Aid, Scholarship Programs, and in the last few years' mission trips deep into the rainforest of Borneo serving the Penan. They helped out in all their missional work and it looked like a lot of fun! He loves to make this trip often because Borneo and its people hold a place close to his heart. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norm Millross. We send our sincere condolences to Norm’s family at this sad time. He will always remember him at Metro as a gentle, kind and creative soul. Details of his memorial are in the obituary below.

The mural is officially taking shape! Using projection during the night, @dylanranneyart paints the outline of the art by @lizranneyart. There's still much to go but it's great to see a glimpse of the beautiful mural that will eventually cover this whole side of Metro Central!

NEW MURAL FOR METRO.

We started work today on our new Metro mural located at Coronation and St Paul in downtown Kelowna. Thanks to Al, Stephanie, Joel, Graham, Lukas and Jeff for your hard work painting in the sun. The base colour is almost done and is already looking amazing. Once this is completed Liz and Dylan Ranney will begin work on painting the mural. It is going to look beautiful.

We have the pleasure of having Gary Smyth with us in the courtyard at Metro Today. Also the Gospel Mission are serving lunch to us.

We are dreaming of great things at Metro and we would love to hear from you!
