Mental health is a silent epidemic in the trades industry. When you mention health and safety on the job site, you are usually referring to safety protocols and OSHA. Mental health is not talked about enough. Mental illness is experienced by 1 in 3 Canadians during their lifetime. The suicide rate among young tradesman is 3 times higher than for other men. What can we do to help? Start the conversation and eliminate the stigma....
