Last night the NBSBL held a conference call where it was decided to cancel the 2020 season. It is very unfortunate and it is very strange to not be playing base...ball at this time of year. That being said, our organization strongly believes it was the right decision to make in light of everything that is going on around us these days. We would like to thank all our fans and followers for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you again next summer. See more

As the world adapts to living with COVID-19 and New Brunswick works towards opening businesses and services, Moncton Employment & Training Services, Inc. is als...o looking at how we can reopen our doors to the Greater Moncton area. Since the province declared a state of emergency, METS has had to close its facilities in order to comply with Public Health’s directives and management and staff have been providing alternative supports to the best of our ability. We understand the importance of our support services to individuals and families, and the additional stress many have experienced during this time with the absence our typical services. It is our intention to help in whatever way we can to reduce this stress. Please provide any suggestions that may help in this process. Our management team is currently working on a government required operational plan that will comply with Public Health and Social Development guidelines and directives. This will allow METS to provide a safe environment for both the people we support and our staff. METS agency-based services does not have a scheduled opening date at this time, and we will notify all stakeholders of any developments as they happen. In the meantime, METS will continue to reach out to its participants and offer support in whatever way we can. Due to the nature of services at our Community Employment Agency, we were able to complete a COVID-19 operational plan for this division sooner and will resume employment services on Monday, May 25th. We greatly appreciate your patience and support, and together we will get through these difficult times. Thank you, David Richard Executive Director See more
