What's everyone doing tonight?! Whichever way you're celebrating this New Year’s Eve, we at Metta want to thank each and everyone of you for your support throughout the past year. It was not an easy year, however this community staying connected with us, online, in studio, donations, memberships, breathing and moving together, through all of the ebs and flows, we've truly proven how resilient and strong we all are. Happy Holidays everyone, it is official, massage therapy has been given the go ahead to reopen early. As of December 23rd, 2020 massage therapy has been granted an exemption to the current restrictions. In order to get a massage, you will need to provide(BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT)either a prescription from your doctor or a referral from your physiotherapist or chiropractor. This written prescription or referral, will be kept in your file (copies are acceptable) and should be wr...itten as valid for a minimum of 12 months. At this time, massage therapy will be closed for the holiday season and set to reopen January 2021. We are waiting for more specific information from both the Province and the Massage Associations but this is excellent news. STUDIO CLOSURE . We can’t say we are stoked about the 2 week shut down of group fitness classes effective Fri, Nov 13th, but your health and well-being are most important. .
