Yeah!!!! The bylaw has been amended and we will be opening on Thursday! I want to say another huge thank you to all the people who showed their support! We have been overwhelmed by the vast community support! Thanks to everybody who signed the petition, everyone who showed up tonight, to the mayor and councilors who worked hard to get this bylaw passed and to many others who wrote the town emails, called and showed their support in other ways. Hello everyone! Tomorrow night (Monday, May 2) the mayor and town councillors will be making their final decision as to whether or not we can open! We will be attending the town council meeting, and would greatly appreciate all the support we can get! The more people who can show up for the meeting, the better! So, if you are free tomorrow evening at 7:00 p.m. come by the Bowmanville town hall, 2nd floor to the left of bylaw office board room! Lets get these local businesses OPEN! Woo hoo!!
