Sunday’s are for sorting cows, sledding, oh and putting the escape goats back in their pen! Today we sorted our cows into their winter feed groups. We sorted them into two groups one group being our main cow herd. The other group is our first time calvers, second time calvers, and 50 cows that will start calving early. Sorting them into these two groups will help come calving time, but also helps with their feed program to make sure they are getting the proper nutrition. ... The girls also got to spend some time sledding down the new sled hill dad made them today. And chasing the escapee goats back into there pen!
