Hello Parents, Due to extreme high winds we are having inside recesses until the wind calms down. It is officially called a Shelter in Place meaning students stay inside and we will monitor and take precautions if parents are picking up kids and at the end of the day for busses. Classes are all continuing as normal inside. Thank you.

In the morning at 11:00 a.m. we had our first ever Chapel Assembly that was streamed out to approximately 150 families. Each staff member gave a shout out with a thought or Scripture about how to enjoy and appreciate God’s creation. We also invited families to a freezie drive through at 1:00 p.m. where staff were spaced out along the street in front of the school and parents stopped in the school parking lot, safe in their vehicles to receive freezies passed through the window. It was a beautiful sunny day and it meant a lot to staff and families to be able to see each other (even from a distance). It was a great day! Hey MHCS families, it was so great to see you today for our Freezie Drive-Thru! We gave out 308 freezies! Your smiles, shout-outs and horn honks made our day! We love you and miss you!

What do these delectable dishes have in common? They were all made by students in Ms. Burke's cooking class!

The Reading Challenge is on! Ms. Burke is challenging all MHCS students to read everyday, and she has PRIZES too! Daily challenges are also part of the fun - so far students have been challenged to make a bookmark, read about animals, to an animal, and do a word puzzle.
