On November 19, 2020, Covenant Houses Sleep Out Executive Edition will return for its 9th year in support of youth who are homeless, trafficked or at risk. The event will take place at in the heart of Torontos financial district. This new location will provide a powerful and immersive experience with physical distancing measures in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. I am looking forward to this my 5th Sleep Out to once again show these troubled young people that they are not alone. You have all been with me on this journey and Im so appreciative. The Ontario Aerospace Council is pleased to be able to offer 4 scholarships for the 2020-2021 Academic Year for students going into or currently enrolled in an aerospace studies program at a post-secondary institution (college or university) in Ontario. Last year for our Canada Day Celebration we had Josh Hemmings come speak to us. He talked about the benefits of sports and how it has helped him grow into the man he is! As he begins the next chapter of his life at Harvard, he is grappling with what is happening in the world not just today but every day. He put together this poem that expresses what we can all do to stop racism. Silence is acceptance we CANNOT be silent anymore! Read his inspirational poem below.

Weve been busy at MHI Canada Aerospace printing face shields on our 3D printers for Trillium Health Partners! So far weve printed over 1700 face shield for Michael Garron Hospital, Toronto East Health Network hospital as well. Yesterday we dropped off 204 3D printed face shield supports at the receiving dock for #Mississauga hospitals. #MHICA can and will continue to support a similar number weekly going forward till advised otherwise. Kristin Thomas, CFRE from Trillium Health Partners said, "Wow, this is so amazing Gurinder we cant thank you enough for your support and all the work you and your team are doing for our hospitals. This truly is amazing and means so much to our health care teams."
