From all of Us at Iceberg Classic... Today would have been puck drop day in Medicine Hat. We are already missing the excitement that we have come to see for 7 years....kids showing up to the rink to play with their buddies, family reunions, catching up with old friends and what has become a tradition with our families to organize this one of a kind, fun tournament!!! To say we have some sadness today would be a HUGE understatement! With that though....WE LOOK FORWARD to pl...anning next year’s tourney more than ever and hope that you will plan to join us at the end of the hockey season. Missing all of those happy faces today! ***UPDATE*** We have been in contact with the City of Medicine Hat this morning and we have just received word that the city is cancelling all events which means unfortunately we will have to cancel the Iceberg Classic tournament for 2020. We look forward to this weekend every year and we love watching the kids play the game they love. We know there are going to be lots of disappointed kids as well as parents but we look forward to seeing everybody next year. Thank you.

Good afternoon, We just want to give everybody an update with regards to COVID-19 Coronavirus and the Iceberg Classic. We are working very closely with the City Of Medicine Hat and Alberta Health Services to make sure we have the latest updates on the Coronavirus. While this is getting lots of attention from the media, we are following the lead from Alberta Health Services which indicates that Medicine Hat is still at a very low rate. We are aware of all of th...e cancellations going on as well as the urging of cancellation of events or gatherings of over 250 people. As of right now we have no plans on cancelling the Iceberg Classic and we will continue to monitor this situation and give you any updates that we receive from the City Of Medicine Hat or AHS. I know there is not a lot of positive out there with everything going on right now, but tomorrow is Friday so enjoy your weekend and we look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks!
