This is so friggan important to me. Gaining the confidence that you can, and will reach your goals, after struggling to figure out what to do.... Knowing that no matter where you are, You CAN start. I am seeing posts and memes again about the new years resolutioners. And how annoying they are. But might I remind EVERYONE, we all started somewhere. That's it. That's all. Just because you are further ahead in your journey doesn't make you any more worthy of being in the gym. Sure, it's frustrating for it to be busy, but have you ever been in the gym during peak times no matter the time of year? A kind smile and hello can go a long way to help the newbies feel welcome, and encouraged to Keep. Going. #healthandhappiness

Wow! 4 years as a certified trainer! So thankful I have found this career. It has changed my life in so many different ways. So excited to continuing to serve my community, build up MHM Fit, continue to learn, and have fun with my people ... Thank you so much for all your support the last 4 years. This literally would not be possible without you!

What’s the secret to getting the results you want in exercise, weight loss, or just about anything? Reaching Big Goals? Driving yourself into the ground constan...tly with miserable hard work? Nope. It’s just taking the right, small actions moment to moment, day to day. As often as you can. Doesn’t even have to be every time. When you consistently take the right, small actions, you eventually arrive where you want to go. Want to lose weight? Think about what you’re eating today and why, not every day for the rest of your life. Want to start running again? Maybe you need to buy new shoes, find a running partner, or do it in the morning before you start work. Little things like that help us focus on process, and when we make these right, small actions over time the process improves and the results often take care of themselves. Let’s get after that next right step!! P.S. Don’t forget how exercise and eating right boost our spirits and self-esteem. Momentum starts on Monday. Which is more important to you? You can only pick one! I say how I feel. Obviously how I look is cool, I love seeing my muscle definition But I have seen far too many people(myself included), lose weight, or gain muscle, reach those milestone goals they have set for themselves and still feel like they aren't there. It's never enough. You see it in the fitness world(competitors, trainers, coaches, etc) as well as the general population.... Maybe you can relate? Have you ever said the words, If I just lose *10lbs*(replace with whatever) I will be happy, satisfied, confident, etc. Here's the truth(for me, and the majority of people I work with, engage with) When you start focusing on how you feel -choosing foods that make you feel energized and satisfied (emotionally satisfied is a thing too ) -exercising regularly in a way that supports your strength and mobility -getting more movement in period -choosing activities in your day to day life that support your mental and physical health There is a shift. You will see body changes, but it becomes less of the focus. You don't rely on what you see in the mirror or on the scale to dictate how you feel. Rsther you just feel GOOD. Because you taking care of yourself. Physically and mentally. Oh, also this may change depending on your phase of life, for example, your focus may be on looks for a period of time because you have a special event coming up, but at the same time, if you've been working on all those things we just discussed, you won't Necessarily feely that same burning *need* to lose 10lbs for your bathing suit because you feel so good What do you think?
