Our city is made up of all the cultures brought by those courageous enough to bring them to Canada as they start new lives and build new homes. Today we recognize all the contributions newcomers, immigrants, and refugees provide to their communities, including ours! #newcomerday

Having a computer and access to internet is vital to refugees as they adjust to a new life in Canada, learn or improve their English, get to know the city and eventually find a job and permanent place to live.
