Myth Nine: I'm OVERWEIGHT. I can't get insurance. Truth: Insurance companies all have different height/weight charts. So if one insurance company declines or rates you for weight, another may give you a more favourable response. Additionally, if you already have insurance but have LOST weight since you were insured, you could qualify for a rate reduction.... (Another great reason to use a broker!) . . . . . #top10lifeinsurancemyths #lifeinsurance #yourlifeinsured #lifeinsuranceagent #overweight #weightloss #weightlossjourney #insurance #weight #yeg #yyc #yqf . . Myth Eight: I can’t afford life insurance. Truth: Some types of insurance are affordable for ANY situation. Certain types of coverage - such as Whole or Universal life insurance - are more expensive forms of insurance. These policies usually have an investment portion and cash value, and the lifetime coverage is more expensive. However, Term life insurance - for 10, 20 or 30 year terms - does not have a savings or investment component, and it is generally the most affordabl...e of all the life insurance products. It is a popular choice because it’s cheaper. You insure your car. You insure your house. Why not insure your life? You’ll protect your family...and your assets. Let us help you compare term life insurance quotes today. #top10lifeinsurancemyths #yourlifeinsured #insurance #affordable #insureyourself #budget #assets #legacy #termlifeinsurance #termlife #wholelife #wholelifeinsurance #alberta Repost from Your Life Insured

Myth Seven: Insurance is too pricy for smokers. Truth: Yes, smokers pay more for life insurance than non-smokers, BUT the cost is likely more affordable than you think! In fact, you’ll probably pay more for your cigarettes each year than you’ll pay for a policy. And if you are an ex-smoker? Well, if it's been ONE YEAR since your last cigarette, most insurance companies will consider you a non-smoker and give you great rates! So, what are you waiting for? Whether you’re a smok...er, considering quitting, or an ex-smokerthere is an affordable policy for you! #top10lifeinsurancemyths #yourlifeinsured #lifeinsurance #insurance #albertacanada #canada #insurancebroker #lifeinsurancebroker #smoker #smoking #nonsmoker #lifeinsuranceagent #iquitsmoking #exsmoker Repost from @yourlifeinsured.ca

Myth Six: I'm an EMPTY-NESTER. The house is paid for. There's no point in life insurance. Truth: Your children might be grown, but your legacy is just beginning! Your adult children now have families of their own, and you’ve paid off your mortgage...BUT consider that a life insurance payout can cover considerable taxation and fees associated with death, meaning your children won’t have to sell your assets to cover these costs, preserving your estate - and your legacy - for fu...ture generations. #top10lifeinsurancemyths #lifeinsurance #yourlifeinsured #lifeinsurancebroker #estate #legacy #emptynesters #mortgage #mortgagefree #grandchildren #children #family #future #planning Repost from Your Life Insured

Myth Five: I'm a STAY-AT-HOME parent. I don't need life insurance. Swipe for the Truth: You would be expensive to replace! Maybe you don’t earn an income, but your financial contributions are incredibly significant when you consider what is being saved: childcare costs, housekeeping services and tutoring, for example. Life Insurance can help cover the kinds of expenses that would have to be paid in the absence of the stay-at-home mother or father. #top10lifeinsurancemyths #li...feinsurance #lifeinsurancebroker #reddeer #centralalberta #stayathomemom #stayathomedad Repost from Your Life Insured

Myth Four: I have enough life insurance through my EMPLOYER. Swipe for the Truth: Your employer's group life insurance policy may not be enough to take care of everything you'd need it to! Most Life Insurance policies through a group plan only offer 1x to 3x your salary in coverage. After a client's full insurance needs are determined, group coverage is typically found to fall short. Additionally, when you lose or quit your job, does your life insurance end too? It's prudent ...to know what your policy offers you, and it's ALSO good to know what it doesn't! Consider supplementing your existing life insurance offered from your employer with a personally-owned policy. #assetprotection #lifeinsurance #lifeinsurancereddeer #centralalberta #legacy #planning #future #mortgage #groupinsurance #lifeinsurancebroker #employment #yourlifeinsured Repost from Your Life Insured

Myth Three is a good one! I have insurance to pay off my mortgage. That's good enough! Truth: Mortgage insurance (typically from a lender) will ONLY pay off your mortgage. Do you have other debts, expenses, or financial commitments? The money that beneficiaries receive from a term life insurance policy can be used for anything. If your love ones need to, they can use the funds for a funeral, a mortgage, credit cards and car loans, or to help with basic monthly living expens...es. Myth One: Life insurance is unnecessary Swipe for the Truth: Does anyone rely on you financially? A spouse or child - or maybe a business? Or do you have debts - like a mortgage? The financial safety net of a life insurance policy ensures that funeral arrangements can be covered, debts can be paid, and your family’s daily needs are taken care of during a difficult time. #lifeinsurance #top10lifeinsurancemyths #yourlifeinsured #thefuture #life #insurancebroker #insurance #myth... #child #family #protect Repost from Your Life Insured
