Hockey has become such a big part of my life. I’ve met so many amazing women & gained new friendships. It takes away the stress & keeps me active. This past weekend our team was a part of the first women’s 3 on 3 one day tournament... and although we were the underdogs (lost all 3 games by a 1 point difference) we ended up winning the semis against the first place team and won gold in a shoot out! I’m proud to say my team trusted to allow me to be the first shooter, and I just so happened to put it in the back of the net (with the encouragement from my team!)
