I'm not sure how to process finding my own CD at a thrift store LOL Either it's time to put out some new music or retire haha. What a cool experience really. He...re you go Wendell :) An unreleased song of mine. If I make another album I'll include it. I had to convert the mp3 to a movie file until facebook can catch up with the real world when people just want to share a song. You know, I'm thinking back to this song when I wrote it and the people who helped bring it together. I wanted to send out some #thankyous to some of the truly special and gifted people who bought into this little project and helped to make a sound that caught the United Ways attention who then used it in a Canadian campaign. So I would like to thank Don Reed for playing the most beautiful fiddle tones in an unfinished basement with me at midnight. A spider did come close to landing on you but I didn't want to ruin the magic. Thankfully neither did the spider. I want to also say thanks to my friend Steve Piticco who is always there when you need him. Unless he's in Europe. Or in a thousand other locations making great music. I really love your slide guitar work on this. Did you play bass on this Steve? Bass is nice anyways lol To Stacey Lee Guse for her truly angelic vocals, thank you so much. And for Shane Guse for providing some really great technical skill for Stacy. As for Ken Post on drums, you're a rock brother. Thanks for laying down this track on a hot July day in the Muskokas. That huge rabbit was hilarious. I'm pretty sure we'd only had one beer at that point?? Andy Thompson helped out on piano and did a great job. I'm not connected with him on FB so send him a shout if you know him. I didn't mean for this to turn into something much longer but the music that we play and the people we get to play with is a finite treasure that I don't take for granted. I'm so happy that I get to do what I love full time. Much love and respect to all my friends near and far paying the bills one note at a time, putting smiles on faces and making toes tap.

Thinking of so many friends tonight in physical and emotional pain. Someone somewhere has you in their thoughts and prayers. You are loved.

I woke up today thankful. Just really grateful for life and so many good people that have been in it. Today I'm happy and sad at the same time with a full heart and a tear lingering in the corner of my eye. I was embarrassed to share this song because it's just done on my iphone but it doesn't seem to matter, it still has more plays than any of my production songs on my soundcloud channel lol. Sometimes only in passing, sometimes dug in like a tick and refusing to give up on me, but all part of my recent and past memories. I'm constantly juggling joy and sorrow in this life like Joey and Rory Feek's tragic situation and taking a wedding booking for year after next. I don't have a lot of advice.
