Day 6. Ha. I thought I would post artwork for these ten days of the challenge but how could I resist spending the day in my garden on this beautiful spring day. This is my other art that also occupies me for 7 months of the year. After the day in my garden my aching back is not wanting to head into my studio. Tomorrow. Today Stephanie Schirm challenged me to post an image of my work for the next 10 days and to challenge a friend of mine to do the same. I challenge Zsuzsa Monostory to do the same. This is a small piece done with oil and cold wax that I finished a couple of months ago.

I love mixing up the art pieces on my mantel. Here is today’s rendition of yesterday’s painting. I love this process of painting layering responding looking thinking feeling painting. I always know when it is done, but there can be 50 layers of paint before it is. I’ll look at it again tomorrow and decide. I am posting a couple of close up so you can see the juiciness of the layers.
