We roll like this. Buried under sand and nothing else to do. What are you doing to keep busy these days?
Oh, hi again :) Did I ever talk about why I stopped submitting weddings to big blogs like Junebug, Oncewed, and all that? I found my favourite wedding images were moments like this, something I shot on an old Nikon 35mm, in the back of a car, and it's just about having fun, not trying to sell a style, or a dress, or anything. It's just real life, and then the moment is over, replaced by something just as fun. . . . .... . #weddingsonfilm #montrealwedding #montrealweddingphotographer #kodakportra400 #handsomeasheck See more
Gang, friends, engaged sugars, it’s been a while since I’ve posted new images, but don’t be fooled, I’ve still got my finger on the shutter button for my clients when the time is right. I wanted to share some frames from a recent Adventure Session starring Brittany and Keren, superstars I’ll be watching tie the knot just around the corner. We were keeping the fun vibes going full speed, and loving every bit of that cool fall air. Stay tangled up y'all.
Sometimes I give guests my cameras at weddings just so they can use it to take their own pictures for a while, and they like that, trying to pose people and their friends, they have a blast messing around. I like seeing what images they’ve taken, and sometimes there’s a few killer images in there. Why do I give strangers my cameras? It’s just fun. Wedding photographers don’t need to be so serious all the time. PS. Photography 101. Everything is on online, more specifically, everything is on Youtube. Even the cool kids are there sharing secrets and hot body positioning. What names do you have for your favourite poses?
I like images of people moving out of one place and into another. In this case ~ running towards a forest, through a field, with a tiny trailer waiting for them off in the distance. The place could be anything and anywhere really, and the ‘anywhere’ is the important part. Where? Anywhere, just fill in the blank with your own imaginary place and it’s always a perfect fit.
