Rouge Valley Summer Camp (FREE) Rouge Valley Conservation Centre has offered us spots to their Virtual Summer Day Camp Program! This camp is for children 6-12 y...ears old. ***Children must have access to a computer and Zoom and must provide their own craft supplies (scissors, glue, tape, markers etc.) --> Kids Up Front will provide craft supplies if none are available. Their program this year will be on Zoom. Children will interact with counselors and other campers on Zoom, have an opportunity to chat and contribute to the daily discussions, test their knowledge with activities and games and take a little time to be creative with a theme related craft. 2020 Summer Day Camp Weekly Themes: July 20 - 24: Furry Friends- Take a closer look at some carnivores and rodents and our only marsupial who is largely misunderstood. July 27 - 31: Sir Hiss, Mr. Toad and friends- We have many slimy and scaly creatures all around us here, some hop, some climb or crawl and some slither. Learn all about these creatures attack powers and defenses, their habitats, and favourite foods. Starting on Tuesday July 14th and running until September 1st, there will be a Sens Rink Animation Program at the Bayshore Sens Rink. This is a free sports drop...-in program that utilizes the outdoor Sens rinks. They are offering the program to two age groups, children 8-12 years and youth 13-17 years. They will be offering instruction for soccer, basketball and ball hockey skills, while maintaining social distancing by participants and staff.
