*Real Talk comin at ya!* Ok, you know I'm a positive person and I'm all about setting intentions for the new year, resolutions, picking a theme word etc. but can we please just get on with it?! We're now 13 days in and a LOT of stuff has already happened in those 11 days. I think the 'New Year' talk should be just that. You hear/see it in the first few days of the New Year only! Is it just me?! And if you've already fallen off your "Dry January" goal or eating better, or join...ing a gym, or whatever it may be, be kind to yourself. We're living in strange times. I was so excited when I was asked to shoot Green Leaf Brewing Co in North Vancouver for West Coast Foods as they're all about kombucha! I love this stuff and the best part about it (other than being local) is that it's healthy for you! Anybody else thinking about their health as we near the New Year? Happy Fabulous Frient Friday!! This week's client turned friend is Alannah McIntee. @Alannahthecounsellor Alannah is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who works with adults, youth and children, and we did a Personal Branding session for her recently focussing mostly on her practice working with kids. She really wanted to show her fun and quirky side while of course being professional. And working with children, it's all about being fun and relatable while making the kids feel ...safe and comfortable. I volunteered my 6 year old son to be her 'client' for the shoot and he had a great time playing with Alannah, blowing bubbles, playing with blocks and even doing balloon art. Little did he know, all of these activities were part of her therapy. Thank you Alannah for such a fun shoot. My kiddo enjoyed it too!
