With the uncertainty and ever-changing nature of COVID-19, many people are losing their jobs, and everyone is concerned of what's to come. We understand these are trying times, and wanted to offer a list of some government relief efforts as it stands now. Visit the link in bio for the list as well as additional resources. As always, we are here to support in any way we can.
The last week has been a major point of adjustment for all of us and it’s been so wonderful seeing people use this as a time to reconnect (virtually of course). Through my conversations with a lot of you, I’m constantly asked how the Real Estate market is adapting and whether I’m still working. Yes, I’m still working away (as much as I can) but had to make MAJOR adjustments to ensure the health and safety of all my clients: I’m currently practicing social distancing and... working from home All buyer & seller meetings are now conducted via telephone or video conferencing All offers are to be signed electronically as well as deposits to be made electronically when possible. But the reality is not everyone can simply put their house search on hold. Whether it’s because they need a home for their family as they just recently sold. Or for some their lease is coming to an end, or might suddenly need to liquidate their investment properties due to job loss. It’s important as a Realtor, to step up in times when our clients livelihoods depend on it and help the people that need it most. Thinking about everyone’s safety in mind we’ve: Enforced strict rules and precautions for any of our listings (gloves, disclosure signed etc..), with video tours being encouraged to be reviewed first before physically seeing the property For buyers, going through video tours with them and trying to narrow it down to seeing one place (if we go out we’re keeping our distance, no touching anything, plus a full list of other precautions to follow during the visit... ) As for the market, it’s going through a shift but we’re seeing quite a few buyers still out there (due to low rates) and a steady stream of homes getting listed. For now, keep an eyes on my insta stories for a more detailed analysis, as it changes every single day and quite frankly this post is already long enough... stay safe See more
How about you skip the huge grocery lines and head to Bare Market, where you can literally get everything you need, without a single shred of waste. After moving into our house, I was quickly faced with the reality that we go through far too much packaging biweekly. To help reduce this waste, Bare Market, sells everything from frozen veggies, fresh pasta, kombucha and chips, but asks you either bring their own containers or rent reusable/returnable containers. It’s a pretty liberating experience and they do an excellent job of making it a seamless, stress free process. Highly recommend you go try it for yourself @ bare market
Happy International Women’s Day to the strong women who raised us and broke barriers to make our lives better, to our friends, sisters, family and colleagues who support us by raising each other up and finally to the strong girls we’re raising that will break glass ceilings as they create their own narrative. Here’s to continuing to empower and cheer each other on #strongertogether
Oh, just a friendly reminder to get your daily dose of vitamin C. We’re about to get to that point of the year where grocery store clementines aren’t very tasty so please, enjoy them while we got ‘em. #HealthisWealth
