Hello friends, I thought I would share a story with you and perhaps you have had the same experience. I realized I had tiny little piles of saw dust around my shed and kept wondering what it was. I have no projects we are working on to have these little dust piles. I paid no attention to it and then one day I realized it was a bee. A carpenter bee in fact. These little rascals are very good at digging little holes in untreated wood to make a nest, which are tunnels within the... wood. Its actually fascinating if you google it. Luckily I was able to catch it before the nesting took place, but it is something to pay attention to during the start of summer. The bee actually scouted a few places for her nest, but got stopped by my homemade remedy. I sprayed vinegar there in the holes when the bee was not there and that seemed to solve the problem. Milton Friends I need your help!! On Monday, July 15th at approximately 1pm my 14 year old daughter was riding her bike south on Thompson Road. When she came... to Kennedy Circle a driver was stopped waiting to turn right. She made eye contact with the driver, who waved her across the road. When she was in front of the vehicle, the driver pulled forward and drove into my daughter knocking her onto his hood and then into Thompson Road, causing considerable damage to both her and her bike. The driver got out of the vehicle, assessed that she seemed to be ok, then got back in the vehicle and drove away (northbound on Thompson Road). A description of the vehicle and the driver is below. If you witnessed this accident or know of someone who fits the description below please PM me; I am irate that anyone could hit a child and then leave them, but more worried that if he would do this to my daughter he would certainly do it again to someone else!! Vehicle: Older model Light Grey/Silver SUV (similar to that pictured) The front bumper of the SUV is a darker grey/black colour Driver: Male, 60+ years old Tanned, wrinkly skin Light eyes Whitening hair, worn in a longer style, wavy Wearing a green shirt and khaki loose pants
