Reminiscing about all the squishes I have had the pleasure of snuggling in their very first days....I need the reminder today of why I do this job, how I love it so much and how happy it makes me. My creative energy is on the downs lately...having to digggggg deep these days. I am missing everyone SO much.

SOMETIMES YOU HAVE SO MUCH TO SAY, IT LEAVES YOU SPEECHLESS. It’s been a while since I have posted on here, because like many my heart has been feeling a lot heavier than I would like to admit. I feel SO many emotions relating to so many different things right now, I don’t even know where to begin. One things that is true, lockdown number three you are hitting HARD. Parents, I want you to know, I feel you and I am SO sorry that we have to go through school lockdown once again.... Please, remind yourself every damn day, you are doing your best. We have done this once before and we are STRONG enough to do it again. While I know that I am VERY lucky to be able to be at home and with my kids during this time and that financially I am able to do so, please also know, we all have our struggles, nothing about this is easy, in any situation. Support each other, be kind to one another and most importantly GIVE YOURSELF SOME GRACE. OUR TEACHERS, EDUCATORS and all the school staff. A HUGE shout out to you.You have been pulled up, down, here, there, pretty much every direction possible. But you KEEP showing up for our children, doing the absolute best you can, making the most of a, I will call it for what it is, SHITTY situation. SO thank you. There aren’t enough words to describe how grateful I am to you for all that you do, for not just our children, but us parents as well. We are a team and we will all get through this TOGETHER. AND TO OUR CHILDREN. Those powerful little forces who continue to adapt, time and time again to the world around them. Who continue to laugh and play. Who continue to bring joy into everyones lives around them, despite the crazy world we are living in right now. I am DAMN proud of my kids. Of all the kiddos out there. It hasn’t been easy, actually its been SO freaking hard. It breaks my heart every day to think about what they have had to do over this past year. While I know the coming weeks aren’t going to get any easier, celebrate how awesome your littles are. Squeeze them tonight and tell them how proud you are of them. Find the things to celebrate. WE HAVE ALL GOT THIS.

Just recently, someone commented, you capture so much emotion in your work <3 It made my eyes well up. This is truly the biggest compliment someone can give to me. It is what I work so hard to achieve on every shoot that I do. For me as an artist, it’s not about getting that perfect staged shot, it’s about capturing real, true emotion; authentic real moments that take place in our every day lives. Hey all!!!! For those asking!!! I have found our Christmas mini location!!!! Eeekkkk! We will be doing them on a country property, layered with trees, trees and more trees! i will be using minimal props! So you are pretty safe with any colour palette for this year!!! Deep reds, dark greens, browns/off whites/creams are perfect I’ll post a few photos sometime this week of the location! Can’t wait to see you all!!

Near & dear to my heart. Loved catching up with these three <3

We ran a freaking half marathon!!!! One week ago today myself and two of my besties set out to run our first half marathon!! With a few hurdles along the way training for the past 4 months, we did it!!! Could not be more proud!! Thank you to all of our amazing family and friends who came out to cheer us on along the way! So grateful for each and everyone of you!! And a huge thank you to my girls. Lee and Ky it felt so good to cross that finish line with you by my side, grateful for you both every day!
