Sneak peek of our capsule collection.. an extension to the Maelo Collection This year has obviously been unlike any other and because of that we have been constantly changing, reassessing and doing our best to adapt. We usually would be launching a full new collection in just over a week, however that just wasn’t possible this year and didn’t seem right for us here at MNROSS. Even though I had been creating two main collections a year that somewhat followed the fashio...n calendar, I have never thought of jewellery as seasonal. We stopped calling the collections spring/summer and fall/winter a few years back in an effort to move away from fashion standards and shift towards a more holistic approach where one collection can live seamlessly beside the next. So when everything seemed to pause back in March, the Maelo collection also seemed to pause. Building, crafting and designing a new collection takes a lot out of me so I made the decision back in the spring, the time I would have normally been deep in designing the next collection, that this year in an effort to protect myself and my business, I was going to approach the rest of this year differently. The Maelo Collection is a collection built on the idea of slowing down so it only seemed natural to continue the exploration within it, allowing it to have a longer life. So here we are, with a capsule collection, an extension of the Maelo Collection that blends seamlessly into the original that launched back in March. Here is just a peek of few of the new pieces with our usual signature style... easily wearable, no fuss, statement necklaces to wear daily. We look forward to sharing this new capsule with you soon!
