I’ll be set up this weekend (Saturday only) with my neighbour who is a talented knitter and artist! This show is such a cool idea. Personally I’m hoping to get out and support some local merchants on this route Sunday.

Michelle Coccola was born in Victoria, British Columbia. She grew up with three siblings in the town of Brentwood Bay on Vancouver Island. Michelle displayed ar...tistic talent at an early age and began selling jewellery in summer markets at the early age of 14. She studied basic jewellery making at Stelly’s Secondary School. From there she went on to take an extensive three year Jewellery Arts program at George Brown College in Toronto. There she learned how to work with many different types of metal including gold, silver and platinum. However, favourite medium to work with has always been wire. She loves the flexibility to create unique pieces of jewellery with few materials. This year marks Michelle’s 13th year in business. She plans to continue making and designing jewellery for many years to come. She is a regular vendor in the Victoria Ship Point and Sidney night markets. It’s Mother’s Day this Sunday! I’m offering earrings, which don’t need to be sized or tried on, with a starter sunflower for $10.00. Physically distanced pickup from my home (Saanich) or $5.00 delivery on Mother’s Day in and around Victoria (limitations apply). Please contact me if you’d like to order. Styles available are shown in the photos, I have many colour options. Orders accepted up to and including Saturday. The starter sunflowers are something that my daughter and I have been doing with our time. We’ve enjoyed planting them and I’m hoping it will bring a little joy for others to re-plant!
