There is always something new to learn in astrology! Some of us choose to pick up on different things and learn different things at different times. Over th...is past Fall I've been very intrigued by the Black Moon Lilith. She is very prominent in all mythology as being the first wife of Adam - - both of them being created out of the dust of the earth. (Eve was said to be Adam's second wife - born from his rib).........I'll get into the whole mythological story of all of that at another time........... So one of the books I asked for at Christmas was a book on Black Moon Lilith - - to understand what it represents in each of our charts. Astrologers have been referring to Lilith for many years, it just never really tweaked my interest to know anything further about it. Black Moon Lilith in our chart shows us what part of our life we feel 'shamed' about.......perhaps its our weight, or our excessive talking, or our excessive OCD qualities, or our binging capabilities etc. It is extremely telling in our chart as to the parts of of us we try to hide. It really has nothing to do with our Sun sign - - ie not all Taurus have Lilith in a particular sign - - each chart has it instilled deep within the chart. Our challenge within each of our charts is to identify the Black Moon Lilith, then decode the shame that has come forward from another lifetime, and to work and understand how to best work with it. One of the best ways to work with any issue within our life is a) Identify it b) see how it works within our life c) find solutions to integrate it so that it no longer becomes a problem, but instead becomes a solution. As a lot of my readers know, I do Soul / Life Coaching on a program called Seasons of your Life. This will be one of the many aspects I will be implementing -- how to work with our Black Moon Lilith within our chart. If each of us were to sit quietly, and to go within, and speak to our personal Lilith she will communicate with each of us, to help us identify where in our life we become 'shamed'. In Mythology Adam asked Lilith to lie beneath him to pro-create. She refused saying both were created out of dust and she was not to become subservient to him by lying under-neath. So Lilith stood her ground and would not become shamed. Even though this story appears to be about 'male and females' - - its truly about the masculine and the feminine energies we all hold within....males feel shamed as well as females - - and yes, males too hold a Black Moon Lilith within their chart. Sit for a moment today and ask "Where in my life have I or still do feel shamed?".....and how am I going to work with that in this upcoming year.
