Thank you so much everyone for all of your concern this past weekend....your comments, messages, texts, phone calls, drop ins, gifts and offers from local photographers to borrow equipment. I truly appreciate everyone’s offer of help, everyone’s concern, understanding and love shown to me. Sooo much love. You guys are incredible. It has been a tough weekend to say the least. I arrived to the studio on Saturday morning, ready to shoot a full weekend of Christmas mini sessi...ons only to find every single piece of equipment I owed gone. Cameras, lenses, lighting equipment. Taken by a man on a bike who spent some time that night in my beloved studio, making himself at home, going through my things and taking everything I’ve worked so hard for. Thousands of dollars in equipment and money....very hard-earned money. It is heartbreaking to say the least but I will do everything in my power to work twice as hard to build it all back again. To all of my clients waiting for images from your session please know I will continue to edit your images and have them to you ASAP. He chose to leave my computer so I didn’t lose what I’m currently working on. All sessions are safely backed up. I will continue to edit and they will be to you shortly. To all of the families that had a Christmas mini session booked this past weekend I will be in touch to reschedule. Thank you all for being so understanding and flexible. I’m working to get enough equipment to be able to photograph again and go forward doing what I absolutely love. To all of you that have upcoming sessions booked in the next few weeks I will be ready for your session. And to my fellow local business owners please make sure you secure your premises well. I would hate to see this happen to someone else. The man got in by kicking in the door. Measures have been taken to make it that much harder for this to happen again. My studio is something I am so incredibly proud of. Aside from raising my four children it is something I have worked the hardest at in my life. I have put everything into building a business, studio and portfolio of work that I can be incredibly proud of. One person doesn’t have the power to tear that down. To anyone that has a Christmas mini session booked today....I'm so sorry but I'm going to have to cancel for now. I got to the studio this morning to find someone had broken in. My cameras are gone and I'm not able to shoot any sessions. I will be in touch shortly.

Move over Halloween.... Christmas is coming! My favourite time of year!!!! I'm so excited to announce that Christmas Mini Sessions are coming to the studio!! And because they started booking up as I was building the set, before I had a chance to post about it I've decided to add one more day. November 7th, 8th and 14th, from 9:00am until 2:30pm. November 7th has completely sold out...you guys are quick....but there's still some openings on November 8th and a full day op...en on November 14th so please message me asap if this is something you're interested in. What's included.....20 minute session for your family or just the kids as well as 5 digital images for $150. Prints and custom-designed Christmas cards are also available as add-ons. Working my way through all of the Back to School orders and came across these gems. This little girl never fails to give me the absolute perfect looks. Fall Mini Sessions begin this weekend (October 31st has been added but haven't had a chance to post yet so if you want a fall session I have a few openings). Christmas minis are coming up in November (will be posting the set design soon but if you're looking to book these please let me know asap....they're filling up fast).
