COVID UPDATE As you may be aware, The Government issued new restrictions on number of people that are able to attend a function at Public Places. The number is 25 people. This means no more than 25 are allowed in the building at one time.... Each Hockey Team has a Safety Rep that is responsible to maintain the 25 number. However, it is a bit different for Public Skating & Pickup Hockey. It is the responsibility of the Rink Staff to maintain this number. An example would be, if there is 2 Arena Staff working then only 23 skaters would be able to be in the building, no spectators. As long as the 25 number is maintained we will be ok. So, unfortunately, we have to base admittance on a first come first serve basis. Please do not forget to sign in when you enter the Arena. Sign in sheet is located on the table as you enter the building. Thank you for your time and attention. Hopefully we will be able to be back to normal real soon. Take Care & Be Safe
Here is Middleton's very own "Mister Hockey", Al Peppard also known as "Pep". Pep has been a huge part of the arena, sitting on the Rink Commission, had coached the MRHS boys hockey team. The countless hours of volunteering. The warm room at the arena had been named after him "Pep Room"
Albert gives countless hours to the arena. He has coached many players over the years. He does all the ice scheduling, oversees the canteen, always looking for ways to raise money, sits on the Rink Commission and much more. He never misses an opportunity to cheer the players on, therefore we gave him his own corner in the arena.

We are taking precautionary measures in order to prevent facility closures. As with the recent confirmed case in Berwick Elementary, measures have now been ext...ended in the wake of todays events. Please do not attend Bridgetown, Middleton, Kingston or Berwick Arenas for any Western Valley Minor Hockey Association activities, if you have immediate family members actively employed at Eden Valley Poultry. This is a short term measure until clear direction is given by NSHA to the employees of Eden Valley Poultry. We will be monitoring and reassessing the situation over the next couple of days. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation on this matter. WVMHA Executive
