Great to see Emil Anderson Construction paving the Malahat tonight , I think the Malahat project is in good hands as Emil Anderson has been leaders in road construction for the last 8 decades in British Columbia, sure would be nice to see there Asphalt Plant set up full time on Vancouver Island.

MALAHAT TRAVELLERS: Overnight paving will begin tonight on Hwy 1, between Aspen Road and Shawnigan Lake Road. Work will take place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunda...y nights through Friday nights, for about two months. One northbound lane and one southbound lane will be open. As paving progresses, lane reconfigurations will regularly occur. Please use caution, watch for changing traffic patterns, and continue to expect delays of up to 20 minutes through the Malahat safety improvement project area.
