THANK YOU! THANK YOU EVERYONE! As the COVID-19 outbreak is a rapidly changing situation from day-to-day, we are committed to keeping you informed and to taking care of you and your family. At this time, Midland Family Dentistry will continue to follow the strong recommendation of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) and that our office will remain CLOSED until further notice for Non-Emergency/Elective Treatment as we want to reinforce that your health and safety and that of our amazing team of support staff and dentists are a vital component of everything we do at our office and we want to ensure that everyone is kept safe and healthy. For our patients that currently have pre-scheduled and upcoming appointments, please be advised that we will notify you by email, text or phone call 1 to 2 weeks in advance to cancel your pre-scheduled appointment as needed. Please note that we are monitoring the RCDSO and Government announcements daily with respect to our re-opening for regular business hours. As you are aware, we are in the midst of a fragile situation and our actions over the next short period of time will determine the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time, Midland Family Dentistry will be following the strong recommendation of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons (RCDSO) and have made the hard decision to CLOSE our dental office for Non-Emergency Treatment, until further notice. If you are in an Emergency Situation, Midland Family Dentistry will be ready to treat you and to alleviate your pain please do NOT visit the hospital for dental pain. Please call our office at (705) 526-9428 and leave a voicemail message if we are not available and we will get back to you as soon as we are able. There are many factors that have gone into this uneasy decision as we care about the health of you, your family, our dedicated team and our community. We will be re-evaluating our office closure daily. Therefore, we are also encouraging you to stay home, wash your hands often, drink lots of water, rest, eat healthy and to brush and floss. WHAT ARE TRUE DENTAL EMERGENCIES: Prolonged Tooth pain that is not manageable with over the counter pain medication. Swelling/Infection Trauma Prolonged/Unexplained Bleeding.
