We would like to thank everyone who came out this season and enjoyed the sport of curling at Midland Curling Club. We know it was not an easy decision in view of the current pandemic. You all embraced the COVID-19 protocols that were in place at the club which allowed us to curl well in to December. We are thankful for the eight weeks of curling we had this season as many clubs were not so lucky. Unfortunately, the recent government 'stay-at-home' order in effect starting... January 14th for at least 28 days, has impacted all Ontario recreational facilities. Because of this, the Board of Directors has voted to close the Midland Curling Club for the remainder of the 2020-2021 season. Members, there is an email that has gone out please refer to that for any questions or concerns! We look forward to curling with you next season, once COVID-19 is in control and we are pandemic free. Our club will be closed as per the Government closure timelines. Have a wonderful season full of hope and health from the Midland Curling Club.
For all the Skips!
Midland has been moved to the Red Zone effective today- Monday, December 14th, 2020. As such, the club will be closed for the next 28 days. However, silent auction items may be picked up on Tuesday Dec 15. We will limit the numbers in the building as per protocol. We hope things will improve over the coming weeks and that we will be able to reopen with league play resuming January 11th, 2021. Please stay tuned for emails in the New Year.
Happy Thanksgiving from Midland Curling Club!

The Friday Open League is a team entry league which runs independently of the Midland club’s registration fees. All are welcome to join with games alternating weekly between the Penetang and Midland clubs. The Friday Open League is competitive but also a fun social afternoon of good quality curling that offers an opportunity to form curling friendships with players outside your home club. If you are interested in entering a team for the 2020-2021 season or don’t have a team, but would like to fill in an open roster spot, please see Don Rethoret at registration on September 21 & 22 (7-9pm) or email Don at: [email protected] For more information go to our website: www.midlandcurlingclub.com
