Midland Fire Department 24.11.2020

Effective Monday, July 23, 2018 at 9:45 am, the Fire Ban is lifted. The Fire Danger Rating is still "HIGH" so please use extreme caution when burning.

Please be advised the Town of Midland Fire Department and the Town of Penetanguishene Fire and Emergency Services are declaring a Fire Ban effective at 09:45 this morning July 10, 2018. All open air burning is now prohibited due to the extreme temperature and heat and the lack of any significant precipitation. Fire weather maps from the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Natural Resources Canada also indicate conditions to be at Extreme Hazard.
