Very happy to announce this @theavettbrothers poster for their show tonight at @vanandelarenagr in Grand Rapids. GR is nicknamed Furniture City. Due to its history of lumber processing and naturally from that, furniture manufacturing. I took this as a great opportunity to illustrate a well furnished apartment occupied by a songwriter whos getting inspiration from some of their favourite records (which are all some of the Bros favourite records too). Forgot to post this a while back but we printed these 3 colour canvas totes for @elanacamillecreates featuring her ink and watercolour illustration. Some real fine halftones and layering of the black UNDER the blue made for a pretty great screen print recreation of watercolour. All about those lil details people!!!

What a week! 3 new beers I had the pleasure of designing were released by @2crowsbrewing for the Canadian Brewing Awards being in town this weekend. I think Cool Kid is my favourite thing Ive designed for them, and I think its my favourite beer in the series too!

Back in 2012 I was flipping through The Coast and saw an article about brand new @saintlousbarber and owner Rob. It sounded like my kinda place so I decided to check it out. Ive been making those poor souls clean up this birds nest I carry around on my head ever since. We printed up some shirts for them this week, a real sexy black on grey, printed on a beautifully soft poly-cotton blend tee. Go pick one up, congratulate them on their success, and get cleaned up while yer at it!
