Long winded!! Any of you that know me, know that my shop is my "shangri la", my retreat and my happy place. It's normally where I go to sort and express my feelings. Where I can create and ultimately feel good about myself. Unfortunately, I've found myself avoiding it. I have not created anything lately. I've not posted lately. This lockdown has taken its toll on me. I miss my children, grandchildren, siblings and parents. You can call me a sheep if you like, but I have at... risk family members that I wish to keep around for a while. I'm not willing to risk it. I am now finding myself temporarily experiencing depression. I am in no way diminishing clinical depression, it is more than real and frightening, and i can not begin to understand what this lockdown is doing to those with it, but I know I will get through this. I have my family and my creative friends for support and I will create again soon. I guess what I'm saying is that if you find yourself in the same position, not wanting to do the things you love, talk to someone.
