On behalf of Migrante Canada, we thank you for your support! Your monetary donations will go directly to the affected communities of Super Typhoon Rolly and Uly...sses through our partner Migrante International. Organizers have been visiting communities in Rizal (Montalban, Rodriguez, San Mateo, Cainta, Taytay) Marikina, Pampanga (Masantol, Macabebe) Bulacan (Hagonoy, Malolos, Calumpit). They will also send support in the form of relief goods and monetary assistance to the further provinces of Isabela, Cagayan Valley, and Bicol. Because of the devastation caused by Typhoon Ulysses in these areas and communities, the rehabilitation process will take months. We hope you can continue to support our efforts in extending relief and support for the families. We are grateful for your support and we will ensure we provide you with updates on our on-going relief operations. #UlyssesPH #typhoonrolly #SagipMigrante To donate: You may e-transfer to [email protected] You may send through Paypal to MRCCToronto (please write Sagip Migrante in the message box)

Remittances or the money that migrants send back home are the most resilient form of foreign income for migrant sending governments. Regardless of any crisis, migrants will always find a way to send money back home to their families. This is why countries like the Philippines systematically deploy their people abroad through its "Labor Export Policy" rather than creating jobs for them back home. #migrantjustice
