Yesterday Pete Fisher asked her to come to Queenie's bake shop in Port Hope. She's never been there before and doesn't know the owners. She was overwhelmed by Adam's generosity as he had her pick gifts for the kids AND gave her clothing for herself. Here she is wearing some of it. She was speechless. I wanted to share this here to show you just how wonderful people in your community can be. Karen and Jules from Suntree Foods stopped into our Main Street store today and donated generously to the Northumberland Fare Share Christmas Dinner project. T...heir donation also made them donor number 1275. For that, they win a Holton Flowers Christmas table centrepiece to decorate their own holiday table this Christmas. Come into our store and donate 20 dollars. With that money, the angels at Northumberland Fare Share Food Bank will supply a local family in need with a festive turkey dinner with all the trimmings. And for every 25th donation made at our store, we’ll give that person a complimentary festive table centrepiece to decorate their dining room table this December 25th.
