HOW TO SAVE YOUR EXTERIOR WOOD. Is your deck/fence starting to grey? This is an early sign that your wood is being harmed by things like moisture and sunlight. Leaving your wood exposed to these elements can lead to mold and rotting. The best way to prevent this from happening is: 1 Scape/Sand any old paint/stain if any. 2Clean the surface.
