This room was only going to have a few minor changes which turned into a partial gut and completely new design. Work Completed to Date: - Large "L" shaped bar was removed to open up the floor space to make it more functional for everyday use. - The old fluorescent lighting was replaced with 8 4" adjustable recessed lights controlled from two dimmer switches.... - Joist cavities were re-insulated with R-22 batt insulation and spray foam. - The duct work in the room and surrounding rooms are now completely sealed from any leaks. - Cable lines have been run to three walls instead of one to accommodate any future room configurations for a TV. - The drop ceiling was removed and drywall was installed. - Taping/ Muding the ceiling, and all imperfections on the walls and areas that will affect the appearance of the trim work to be done. - New laminate floor (Kamina Oak) with a cork underpad. - New baseboard/casing/ and crown molding - Post was painted with Old White chalk paint with a dark wax -Walls painted Park Ave Grey See more

Installed built up crown in a side entrance using baseboard on the walls and the ceiling then crown against the baseboards. It gives a very detailed high end look and the design possibilites are endless

I had to skim coat all the walls to make them even throughout the room. I installed crown molding on the ceilings, chair rail and shadow boxes on the walls, new trim on the windows and doors. The shelf was custom built to match the French Provincial style dresser with the same crown on the windows and doors.

The closet was completely gutted back to the studs. New insulation and vapor barrier, 1/2' drywall on the walls and 5/8' on the ceiling. A two piece baseboard was installed to give a taller look with more detail. The built in organizer was designed for versatility. The shelves are all adjustable by an inch to maximize the storage options. The top section will fit standard size totes.

Installed two piece chair rail through out the main floor with symmetrical sized shadow boxes between the baseboard and the bottom of the chair rail.

Installed Tumbled Marble backsplash, Crown Molding on the the cabinets and the skirt on the bottom of the cabinets. Both windows had custom milled casing to fit tight against the cabinets.
