Restricted firearms buyers beware! Starting yesterday (Mar10) firearms retailers have been receiving this notice in the email for approved transfer requests, b...ut it is not on the document printed for customers. Approvals no longer serve as temporary Registration Certificates! Businesses received no notification or bulletin from the CFO on this change. Customers will have to wait to receive their final Registration Certificates to take their new restricted firearm to the range.
Courses have resumed at the Port Coquitlam and District Hunting and Fishing Club. I will be teaching one up there at the end of March. Registration for this course is done through the range office. https://pcdhfc.com/courses/cfsc-cfrsc/
They have probably got something figured out by now.
The real truth about today.
It's going to be a bumpy road getting ammunition for a while.
It's going to be a rough stretch for a while with that sort of demand. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIgvoJKovIg&t=208s
It's going to be getting a bit thin on the shelves. https://www.csaaa.org/canadian-sporting-arms-supply-chain-/
Want to blow up some pumpkins?
Congratulations to the successful students who passed our latest Canadian Firearms Safety Course this past weekend! As you can see safety with firearms and our ...health is taken into account. Our next course at the club will be held September 19th/20th. To attend you must pre-register with the office in person or by calling 604-942-9772. Space is limited.
I am teaching this course up at the Port Coquitlam range. It is slightly more expensive than normal as there is more overhead. Booking for this one is done directly through the range office.
The range is opening back up this weekend. There have been some big changes made while it was closed. Still no handguns on range 7, but range 10 has a new shelter and improved berms so it can run independently from range 7.
Reliable is back open!
Word has come down from the RCMP that CFSC courses can now resume.
