Great news ... rinks are open again in HRM! I have went ahead and booked some ice for my holiday sessions. We are limited to 20 skaters because I need to make room for goalies and instructors. I have six (6) days of ice, and two hours of ice will be allocated to each group. Cost per day will be $60 ($30 per session). Here is the schedule: December 21-23, 28-30 @ COLE HARBOUR PLACE ... U11: 10-11am, 1-2pm U13: 11am-12pm, 2-3pm U15/18: 12-1pm, 3-4pm Once again, cost will be $30 per session, $60 per day. First 20 skaters in each group are confirmed. Congrats to a few of the #MDHA boys on winning the U11 Steele Subaru Summer Classic ball hockey tournament. The Danton Destroyers (no, I didn’t choose the name) were lead by Ben, Max, Ethan and Fitzy. Of course, we can’t forget coach Brian and Coach Dwaine.

For 2010-born players, I have decided to put a spring hockey team together. This spring hockey team will compete with teams throughout the Maritimes until the end of May. At that time, the spring team will transform into a national/summer team that will compete in two of the largest tournaments in Canada throughout the summer. Separate tryouts will take place for the national/summer team. Tryouts start beginning of October, so stay tuned for dates/times. From October to th...e end of May, there will be 120 hours of development sessions for the spring team. Team name (already picked) and team logo/jersey to be released in the next couple of days. If you’re interested in trying out, please reach out via DM, text, call or email. Cost and additional information to follow this week or early next week. Very excited to help the younger generation compete against their peers throughout the Maritimes and all of Canada! #MDHA
