Given the current situation, our home in Banff Soul Ski & Bike has closed the doors to normal daily operations. The store, Banff Cycle, Banff Cyclecraft and ourselves have moved to a by appointment model (as well as their online store) Any work that was in will be completed, and you can contact us to arrange pick-up. We're also completely happy to store any skis that are currently in until things return to normal. Thanks, and stay healthy!

OK...it's official...we're terrible at Facebook...fortunately we're really good at tuning skis. By all means if you're attracted to a shop who's better at Facebook than us...Bon Chance. Yes, it's mid summer, and yes, there's ski tuning to be done. Race preps, pre-season, neglected gear...we'll get it done. Other people may do all the talking (like maybe posting more than once between Oct. and July) but we'll stand on our record...(Olympic, World Cup, World Championship, Eu...ropa, Red Bull Worlds, X Games, Bozo Cup, Ski Canada Tests, CSIA exams at every level, everyday of the season patrolling...and don't forget the all important Cookie Cup...) honestly we've lost count because they all matter to us. Apparently it's official...

The wood floors gone, concretes poured, painting done, machine re-set up and serviced, and we're back up and tuning...Its that time of year and we're in the shop back at it...

I guess July isn't too early to say the ski season is over...at least for most of us. For those whom it never ends, whether working, coaching, training, or just going somewhere with snow for fun, we're still tuning. We're obviously not in the shop all day everyday, but are in as needed. You can call us, message us here, or simply drop off your gear at Soul Ski & Bike they'll let us know it's in.

It's been a great winter in our new home inside Soul Ski & Bike. We'd like to thank everyone who's helped make it that way. There's still plenty of great skiing to be had, and we'll be tuning away for a while yet. As the store gears up for summer the hours have changed. We're now open 10:00 - 7:00

'Tis the season...we couldn't leave our elaborate Christmas decor in Calgary. A vote was taken and it was unanimous, there couldn't be a better spot to decorate than Cookie's bench (Cookie was absent for the voting but 2/2 Mikes present agreed) Happy Holidays!

...as those of you who've stopped by already know, we're all settled in back in Banff in Soul Ski & Bike. It's been great to see all the familiar Bow Valley faces, and a nice surprise to see so many of the people we'd met over the last two years in Calgary stopping in as well.

Here it is - The big announcement All the I's are crossed and all the T's dotted; We're moving back to the valley!! We're taking over the basement of Soul Ski & Bike in Banff... All your favorite Mike's will be there, Mike Lindsay, the other Mike (Mike Best) and of course it wouldn't be complete without some guest appearances from Mike "Cookie" Karys. Over the next week we'll be in and out doing a few renos to our new home, and setting up shop. We're set to handle new race preps as of now, and should be fully up and going by next weekend. We're looking forward to seeing all the old familiar Bow Valley faces. Of course as when we were located in Banff before, we'll always find a way to accommodate our Calgary clients when you're in town, and Lou's Skiing Performance Centre will continue on as the spot to drop off/pick up skis in Calgary.

The rumours are true...We're moving the shop. We've closed up at C.O.P, and will be re-opening mid October in our new, soon to be announced location. As always you can get in touch with Mike to make arrangements for any tuning, and skis can also be left at Lou's for pickup.

He came in to drop off some skis for the family, and when he saw the motley crew of servicemen, had to have a picture. So here are 4 guys know worldwide in skiing by their nicknames; From left to right; Panda, Speedy, Cookie, and Gus. Of course only one of them won an Olympic medal in Super-G just over a year ago...(it wasn't Speedy, Cookie, or Gus)
