Coincidentally, came across it lying where the sidewalk ends in the Mill Creek Ravine, while riding this Garneau hybrid (a bike designed to handle both trails and city riding). The poem pictured is the book's invocation, and a favourite. ... "If you are a dreamer, come in If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar A hope-er, a pray-er, a magic bean buyer... On July 11, the #yegdtfootbridge goes down. What comes next, is yet to be seen but here's a final #bikeback look from the other day. Don't miss getting in a final ride.... As to the summer ahead, with funicular construction and the bridge down for Valley Line LRT work, the closest route to either get to #yegdt or from there to southside is now up across the George MacDonald bridge and up by Shaw Conference Centre. A bit longer haul, and not as pretty, but that's the short (and long) of it until 2020.
