Dear friends of Mike Toukas and Mike's Family Restaurant in Alliston. After a lifetime of serving customers at his many restaurants, and at the age of 74, Mike will be retiring and closing down. In addition to running his restaurant, Mike was the heart and soul of the New Tecumseth community having raised thousands for community charities. Mike and his late wife Bernice, raised over $50,000 for Canadian Cancer Society with his annual Kiss Cancer Goodbye event; nearly $10,000 ...for Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation; and thousands more for community groups including Community Living Association for South Simcoe (CLASS). We are having a retirement reception for Mike on Sunday, July 26th from 2-4pm at the back parking lot of Mike's Restaurant. If you are able to attend please wear a mask and maintain social distancing as per Ontario Covid-19 guidelines.
