We received news yesterday that the EGC approved and recognized Mike's Dough as an essential service. We are so happy that we get to continue with our business and serve the community. ... Hello everyone, We have been contacted by Public Safety and Emergency Measures Committee in regards to our take-outs and the order to stop food take-outs from home. We have submitted a letter to the Emergency Measures Committee and hopefully the response is we can remain open. ... One of the concerns was the unit at 31 Maquatua Road is used for a residence as well as take-out. To be clear, the person living at 31 Maquatua is no longer living there. This is a good thing because hopefully we can stay open during Phase 1 of the pandemic plan. It also means we will be able stay open longer and offer a bigger menu with more tasty goodies and meals. We posted earlier about some of the protocols we have in place, to ensure the safety of our customers and worker. Everyone has done a good job respecting these measures we put in place for ourselves. We thank you from the bottom of our cheese bucket. Now this puts us in a little bit of a dilemna. We have stock we need to sell but we also want to respect the measures being implemented by our leaders. After much thought we decided to remain open. Hopefully this issue can be resolved soon and we can continue to offer you the same quality pizzas and other food without compromising guidelines and protocols. If you order from us, please know that it is against Public Safety’s advisory to cease our food service for the time being. We thank your for your continued support.
