Got about a week left to submit your Ox Teamster Survey or encourage your friends to do so. Again, I am happy to share the results, but the results are only acc...urate if as many teamsters participate as possible. Here are some preliminary results. The differences I see between those of you up there and the teamsters down here. You train your oxen at a later age, work them more on average and learn about training oxen more from family and friends than those of us in the USA. Which makes it more of a cultural tradition (no surprise really). You also seem to have a lot more men than women involved with working and training oxen. See the graphs. You can only do the survey once, and only one person from the same computer or smart phone.
