Mild Wild Studio

Mild Wild Studio is taking a break from the Farmers' market for a few weeks. It's wild plant-collecting time. So far I have managed to collect nettle, fireweed, rose petals and plantain. Everything is coming on fast and early this spring - feels more like summer. I'm sorry I didn't get as much nettle as I wanted ... but nettle comes a second time in the season so I'll be on the lookout for it. I'll have to start collecting from my own herb beds soon. Mint and lemon balm are needing a little pruning already!. I will be drying, distilling and infusing these plants and herbs in preparation for salve and cream making in the coming weeks and will be back at the Market in July.
