It's a wee bit breezy, the sun is shining and the water is warm - a perfect day to visit the Almonte beach! We're here until 3, so come by and say hi!

Sadly, we've been seeing lots of garbage left behind at the beaches, boat launches, parks and conservation areas we've been at this summer. The biggest offenders - cigarette butts, alcohol cans/bottles/caps, straw wrappers off juice boxes and hair elastics! Please help us keep our natural spaces clean and beautiful for all to enjoy!

T'was a lovely 'internet free' day at this little slice of paradise on Dalhousie Lake today!

Skies are clearing just in time for us to spend the afternoon at the Lake Avenue Boat Launch in Carleton Place. If the rain holds out, we'll be here until 5 pm. Stop by for a visit before launching on the mighty Mississippi!
