Hello , we recently dropped off our dog Guinness for a month long board and train . We did miss our dog as we were not traveling but the foundation Heather ins...talled was amazing . Simple commands , loose leash walking our expectations were exceeded . The follow up session was very valuable as she came to our neighborhood and observed us practicing our simple commands and leash skills . Perry and Susan See more

Handsome Stan-man progressing along. We are working away on impulse control and staying focussed. In common golden fashion, his brain tends to flit from sit to leaf to squirrel to sit to bird to noise to sit.

Meet Stanley the golden retriever. Isn’t he lovely? He’s here for the next couple of weeks to work on general obedience and manners with people.

Guinness nearing the end of his stay. I ended up extending his stay by a week as his start up was very slow. He wouldn’t engage when I said yes so I couldn’t start any no for a long time. He was so fixated on other dogs he wouldn’t remotely entertain the idea that I held any value. You can see in the video he is now not only minding his manners around Wrelek but even when released he chooses to engage with me over him. His owners will need to be disciplined on his dog in...teractions to maintain him being a balanced well behaved member of society. A reminder to all those with dog obsessed puppies: letting your dog play even more with others will not alleviate the problem - it does the opposite. Keep engagements with other crazy playmates limited until he believes you are it. Get advice on how to make this happen from a trainer if you need help!
